Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD)

ICD’s mission is to provide education, research, and strategies to benefit people challenged by chronic disorganization. ICD’s vision is to be the premier resource on chronic disorganization. We strive to provide our clients with strategies for overcoming their brains' natural tendencies and access to the latest research, techniques and best practices. We are passionate about serving people living with chronic disorganization, and value collaborating with counselors, coaches, therapists, researchers, and doctors.

Our community is made up of Professional Organizers, Productivity Specialists, and other related professionals who want to know why our clients are affected by chronic disorganization. We understand that the brain has a lot to do with a client's ability to be organized and to maintain organizational and productivity systems. Brain-based challenges, whether congenital or acquired, directly impact organizational skills. Because of these brain differences, we seek education from professionals in the medical, educational and neuroscience communities. The training and resources available to our subscribers make us better equipped to help clients affected by chronic disorganization.

Code of Ethics

The ICD Code of Ethics supports the mission of ICD by establishing principles that define ethical behavior and best practices for ICD subscribers. It serves as an ethical guide designed to assist subscribers in constructing a professional course of action that best serves those using their services. Additionally, it provides the basis for processing ethical complaints and inquiries initiated against ICD subscribers.
